This was our third visit to this wonderful Moroccan restaurant in Jerusalem.
The owner of Darna came to Israel from Morocco as a child and the decor of the restaurant tastefully reflects his homeland.
Each room is colorful and interesting.
There are a lot of traditional accents throughout the restaurant without it looking kitschy.

The main courses are cooked and served in Tagines - clay pots in which the dish cooks slowly on a charcoal fire.
We enjoyed a tagine of couscous with vegetables.
Meatballs with celery and preserved lemon.
A nice lamb tagine
A Moroccan pastry platter
Traditional tea, served with a smile.
We had a truly enjoyable evening and were taken care of very nicely and in a polite and personable manner. The restaurant has a feeling of being invited into a Moroccan home, we will return. Darna is Glatt Kosher.
