Kolo (pronounced Kowo) Antique Market has been a favorite Sunday morning activity for my Dad and I for many years now. Early Sunday morning, Dad and I make our way through the quiet streets of Warsaw. The sun might just be rising on the horizon but the vendors at Kolo are already well into their day of heavy bargaining, chatting and deal making.
The people who sell at the market are anyone from a serious dealer of top notch antiques to an elderly lady selling trinkets to make ends meet.
If you need it, you can find it here. There are watches, swords, beautiful furniture, rugs, jewelry, china, paintings, clocks, silver, fur, and anything one might desire.
This is a great way to spend a morning, even if just to stroll and look. The vendors are very nice and easily engage in conversations, they appreciate interest in what they are selling and bargaining is a must. They start setting up early, sometimes at 4am and the market is pretty much done by 3pm.
